A Catholic University Alumnus (BA, 1998) and four year A-Side starter for CUA Rugby (1994-1998), Coach Kiniry is proud to return to his alma mater and work to continue CUA Rugby's winning tradition. Coach Kiniry was part of the Division I CUA Rugby team that made it to the National Tournament in San Diego in 1997 after defeating Virginia Tech to place 3rd in the Mid-Atlantic Rugby Football Union Championships and 14th in the country.

Gus Ventura
Head Coach (2002-2006)

Gus Ventura is a 14 year veteran of USA Rugby and is registered as a Level Three USA Rugby Certified Coach, the highest certification level offered by this national governing body.

Coach Ventura entered the world of rugby with the Potomac Athletic Club (PAC) in 1990 and played 8 years as an Outside Center and Wing.

After recovering from a series of knee surgeries, he decided to transition into coaching to continue his contributions to the sport of rugby.

Coach Ventura spent 4 years coaching men's teams in Washington, DC and Los Angeles, CA, and even provided some help establishing a new team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has coached teams that have toured to matches and tournaments in the United Kingdom and across the United States.

Catholic University of America RFC is the first collegiate squad for Coach Ventura. His opening season recorded a 2-3 record earning a berth in the Potomac Rugby Union (PRU) playoffs. However, sanctions levied on the club from the previous year disqualified participation.

Gus Ventura is an active Duty Commander in the United States Navy.
